El Questro Wilderness Park

After a few weeks on usually not very busy camp grounds, El Questro felt a little too touristy to us. However the walks through the gorges are beautiful.

Mitchell Falls

The side trip to the Mitchell Falls was another highlight. There are quite a few ancient art sites on the way to the falls. We have seen our first Bradshaw paintings. Amazing that these paintings have been done possibly 20'000 years ago. The Mitchell Falls do not disappoint. Even in the dry season there is plenty of water.

Gibb River Road

Jack did very well, mastering the Gibb with ease! The only thing that rattled off was an AC hose (and we have lost an empty jerry-can which was clearly not Jacks fault)...
